This Privacy Policy describes how Chic Film ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and handles your information when you use the Chic Film: Photo Editor application ("the App") on your iOS device. We are committed to protecting your privacy.

a) Photos

When you use the App, you may select photos from your device's photo library to apply filters and edits. The App accesses only the specific photos you choose to import. We do not upload, store, or transmit your photos to any external server. All photo processing occurs entirely on your device.

b) Email Address

If you contact us for support or feedback, you may provide your email address. We use this solely to respond to your inquiry and do not add it to any marketing list or share it with third parties.

c) Subscription and Purchase Data

The App offers optional in-app subscriptions. All subscription transactions are processed by Apple through the App Store. We use RevenueCat, a third-party service, to manage and verify subscription status. RevenueCat may collect anonymized purchase and subscription data to facilitate this service. 2. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect:

  • Your name or personal identity
  • Your location or GPS data
  • Your contacts or address book
  • Crash reports or analytics data
  • Device identifiers used for tracking or advertising
  • Any data for behavioral advertising or cross-app tracking

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information described above solely for the following purposes:

  • To provide the core photo editing features of the App
  • To manage and verify your in-app subscription status
  • To respond to support requests when you contact us

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We may share information only in the following limited circumstances:

  • With RevenueCat, to process and manage in-app subscriptions, as described above
  • With Apple, as required for App Store distribution and in-app purchase processing
  • If required by law, regulation, or valid legal process

5. Data Storage and Security

All photo editing is performed locally on your device. We do not store your photos on our servers. Any contact information you provide (such as an email address for support) is retained only as long as necessary to resolve your inquiry and is then deleted.

We take reasonable precautions to protect your information, though no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure.

You may manage photo library permissions at any time through your iOS device Settings. Revoking photo access will prevent the App from functioning as intended.

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

9. California Residents (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to request deletion of your personal information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising your privacy rights. 10. International Users

The App is operated from the United States. If you are located outside the United States, please be aware that any information you provide may be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using the App, you consent to this transfer.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the Effective Date at the top of this document. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
